Placeholder value looses focus

    Okay, two of the fields in my form are Country and County. These are Dropdown Select fields. County is only relevant when United Kingdom is selected, so I use a condition to hide County unless United Kingdom is selected. I also pre-populate the Country field with the value United Kingdom using placehoder. When the form is first presented, both fields are visible, which is what I would expect. However, as soon as I fill out any field (fields other than Country or County), County disappears i.e. the Country field looses focus of it’s placeholder value. How can I prevent this from happening?

    I also have a separate, yet related problem. The above mentioned fields (Country and County) appear twice in the back end once the form has been submitted with actual values.

    So, there is a README in the plugin directory which has to be the smallest README I have ever seen. Not much insight to your support structure there? Then we have the “Support” link within the WordPress plugin itself. Still no real clarification about your support offerings. So, I can only assume you refer to the “header” post of this “support” forum. This tells me that any support will cost me $50. Is that correct? Is this your usual response to potential clients? From my own experience, we have developer forums where anyone can post anything and bug reports are welcome. Indeed, others on this very forum seem to have more positive responses. “I know it is confusing” is not a good answer, so perhaps it’s time for some clarification?

    We provide a free plugin, documentation (https://calderawp.com/documentation/caldera-forms-documentation/) and YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgeaHmX3MoiuXOhRlDdYn7k0RcL4afLzQ), but, we do not provide free support.

    Support is literally not something we can afford to give away for free. If you want support, it is a service we offer. If you have a bug report, please post it in GitHub.

    I hope that you understand that this is a business decision and will either use our plugin for free or support our work by purchasing add-ons or support.
