Hi Dan,
thanks for reaching out.
I see two manually placed ads on your post
- below-first-paragraph
- after-content
All other ads in this post seems to come from Google Auto Ads and are only manageable through your AdSense dashboard.
You may want to create more content placements which are sorted to appear after your paragraphs, but please keep in mind that the Auto Ads can still populate your content in between.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,
Henning
HI Henning,
thank you!
This is strange because Google Auto ads are not on the site, all I use is the plugin.
And in there I have defined an ad every 3 paragraphs…
I removed the auto-ads code directly on site long ago… is it possivle I entered the auto ads code into the plugin?
I do have – in the plugin settings – below first paragraph, but also many more “in article” placements
The behavior of the ads/plugin is just strange
any idea?
Thx
Dan
Hi Dan,
If you enabled Auto ads through Advanced Ads, then you can remove their code in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense > Verification code & Auto ads.
However, AdSense can also inject Auto Ads through individual ad units. You can only disable that behavior directly in your AdSense account. Go to your AdSense Dashboard > Ads > Overview > By site, then click on your website and disable Auto ads in the Ad Settings section.
is it possivle I entered the auto ads code into the plugin?
If you inspect your articles through the browser tools, you see the <div> starting with the “pcpla-” class injecting your first manual placed ad code. The next ad unit got the class “google-auto-placed” indicating auto-injections.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Henning
Hi Dan,
I hope all is well. Are the ads now appearing as requested?
Best regards,
Henning
