Placing an ad code

Hi, just installed and activated DiBusiness Free. I’ve attempted to follow these google adsense instructions: Place this ad code in the <head> tag (or at the top of the <body>) of the pages where you want to show the ads.. Tried pasting the code in Customiser, Top Header Right, Widget, but it’s not working, neither with Custom HTML or TEXT widgets. I also tried placing the code by using the plugin Insert Headers and Footers. No joy. Any help, please?

It is plugin territory. A theme can’t provide custom widget or feature to past javascript code. because they will lost when you will switch theme.
Custom HTML widget provided by core WordPress should work. also you can find plugin to display ads like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/adsense/
