Sorry to hear that you are in a trouble.
The continuous playing depends on the theme. If your theme is not reloaded every time you load a new page then the radio player won’t be interrupted.
If the theme reloads the page, then the radio player can’t start playing automatically due to the browser restriction. Browsers are not allowed autoplay.
That’s why the autoplay affects.

I now have a theme that load pages with ajax, but due to the player being in the footer the music still pauses, any idea how I can get around this?
Also in the demo the following streams do not work for some reason: http://sc3.radiocaroline.net:8030/listen.m3u

Once I have an answer I plan to buy the script and all add-ons, but would like to know if I will need to hire a coder to do this for me.

Update your 1st stream URL to: http://sc3.radiocaroline.net:8030/;
And you have to load your website to HTTP to play the above HTTP stream URL.
Because browsers do not allow HTTP streams on a HTTPS website.
and the second URL is not a valid stream URL anymore. It is offline now.

The second stream is definitely valid and working.
Both of these streams work fine in VLC player so I know they are live.

OK so you advised I need an Ajax page load theme to fix the player pausing with each page load, so I have one.
I can now play music and change pages with no pause.
There is an issue though: any page with WP Radio shortcode in it does not load. I can see the boxes of the listing page, but they do not load any content.
I have found that the pages require the wp-content\plugins\wp-radio\assets\js\frontend.min.js file to be called again to make them load.
How can this be avoided or resolved?
Please can you assist me with this as your recommendation to use an ajax theme has half worked and I had to pay for this theme.

You are using the wrong stream URL for the first stream URL.
use semicolon (;) at the end of the stream. It will work.
