Hi, we’re running into this annoying bug in the music player app, both on my Android phone and in Chrome-based desktop browsers. Sometimes a track will double-play super quick, like a split-second apart, which turns it into this metallic echo mess. It doesn’t hit every song or every time, but it’s frequent enough.

    Quick repro steps:

    1. Hit play on a song.
    2. Tap the forward button right after to skip ahead.
    3. It usually glitches on the second or third track, but could be the fourth, or later in the queue.

Tried it on a few devices/sessions, and it sticks around across platforms.

    Hi, @sankoraga !

Can you please post the link again? The link you shared (email, that’s not a URL removed) does not seem to be correct, it is on yahoo.com website.

We’ve made some changes. Best check officialsanderkok.com/nieuw.

Aside from the problem described, the player’s sound quality is much lower than the file’s. Maybe related?

    Hi @sankoraga

Regarding the first issue you mentioned: I checked the page on https://officialsanderkok.com/ but I could not find any player on your front page. Did I miss something? Can you please share a URL where I can find an instance of the music player, so I can check?

Regarding your second question: ‘Aside from the problem described, the player’s sound quality is much lower than the file’s.”

The Music Player for Elementor uses the native HTML5 <audio> tag built into web browsers.
This means the playback quality is handled entirely by the browser itself — the plugin doesn’t modify, compress, or re-encode the audio files in any way.

If you notice lower sound quality compared to the original file, it’s usually due to how the browser handles playback (for example, different browsers or devices may apply volume normalization, EQ, or decoding slightly differently).

To confirm, you can test by opening your audio file directly in the browser (outside the player) — the sound quality should be identical.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The URL is officialsanderkok.com/nieuw. You should be able to see the player there.

As for sound quality and browser playback, the weird thing is that I’ve tested other audio players on the same site and only Music Player has this issue. I’ve also tried different browsers with Music Player and they all had this problem.

    Hi,

Thanks for the details! On the URL you shared: https://officialsanderkok.com/nieuw/ – there is a single player, on the ‘STEEN EN VLEES’ section and that player was not created with our plugin, it is a totally different audio player used for that section. Can you please double check that?

You’re right, I’ve had the players confused. So sorry for the inconvenience!
