what element exactly do you want to change? All (most) styles are defined in the podlove-web-player.css file. As an example of other styles for the pwp you can take a look at https://github.com/SimonWaldherr/podlove-web-player/blob/additional-styles/podlove-web-player/pwp-style-light.css

There is a git branch with the new download feature, but it’s still not ready for productive use. If you can wait a few days-weeks 😉 the “Download Bar” will be merged in the master branch.
FYI: we respond much quicker on GitHub Issues than here in the forum.
