    I’m an inexperienced developer who has spent hours trying to find a simple, up to date plugin for playing videos, mp4, .mov or even .wmv. The site is for a small commercial client who is shooting his own product videos (about 20 total on the site). The videos will be uploaded to the self-hosted server. Most plugins I’ve found are either pre 3.4.1, (like 3.1 or earlier) play only flash video or play videos from YouTube, Vimeo or other video hosting sites.
