Playlist Ordering Does Not Work

    I have enabled the Playlist Ordering option, which in theory should display the most recently added video on the playlist as the featured Video. But this doesn’t happen. On the page where I have embedded the playlist, the new video shows as the last thumbnail and the featured video is always the FIRST video added to the playlist. Does anyone know a fix for this?

    You’ve embedded a playlist as a gallery not a standalone player. If you take a look at that Playlist Ordering option, you’ll see that it ends with the following sentence: “Note that this is not for setting the thumbnail list order of galleries, just the standard playlist player that YouTube provides.”

    If you want a playlist to be of a specific order on a gallery, you should order it that way first on YouTube.com. The plugin will reflect that order. In short, a playlist gallery will reflect the order of videos found on the playlist on YouTube.com.
