Playmaker 4 Theme Help

I need to revert my new theme (Playmaker 4) to use custom fields. The support system at StyleWP sucks.

The Playmaker 1 theme I upgraded from used custom fields to add images, but the Playmaker 4 theme automatically detects the first image added to a post and uses it throughout the theme where necessary.

Below is the only response I have gotten on the StyleWP support forum.

Can anyone help me revert Playmaker 4 to use custom fields instead of automatically detecting the first image added to a post and using it throughout the theme where applicable?
