Please Help

    I am trying to add a blog to my existing website. I have created a template to look like my site, but i’m haveing issues getting the blog to show approx 10 posts per page and also having no luck with sidebar. I have designed several websites but for some reason I am missing something here. I want to add a blog with sidebar navigation that shows approx 10 to 20 posts per page. Can someone please point me in the correct direction. Below is a link to the page. I am extremely new to wordpress I want this to work, so any help would be most appreciated. Oh and by the way I followed a ” tut ” to get this far on my template, so that may be the problem.

    you can set the number under:
    dashboard – settings – reading – Blog pages show at most [ ] posts

    no luck with sidebar…
    I am extremely new to wordpress …

    start by reading:

    and ‘disect’ a few free themes to see how they’re doing it…

    Still does not work for my main template page where I want the entries to show. I posted 7 bogus comments and they dont show unless you click where it says 7 comments and then it takes you to another page.

    I will go read the link you added. I really hope I can figure out if I have a prob with code or what other issue I may have

    yes – that is the default behaviour for index pages.

    it can be overwritten, but you really need to know your WordPress coding, and it is also not recommended.

    I appreciate the help. I guess I will just delete it then, because it’s worthless to me if I cant have multiple entries on the main blog page. I’m sorry but that just does not make any sence.If thats the case, this has been a big waste of time and does not help me in any way. Thanks for trying.
