I installed WP Statistics and now all my posts and pages in Admin appear by author and not title. I can’t edit them there either. I’m totally baffled because I can edit the page when viewing it and now see a ‘Posts Page’ thing next to the page title. Adding a new page does the same thing. I have tried disabling plugins and reverting to default theme.

How can I get this back to normal? I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I also had Rank Math SEO installed too. This is pretty upsetting as I was close to getting ready to launch the website. Any help is appreciated.

Here is a screen shot of the issue. Any pointers on fixing this is welcome.

    Hi @t0ta11ed,

Thank you for opening the thread!

Just to confirm—are the titles in the list (https://i.vgy.me/j5BrZa.png) showing the authors’ names instead of the actual post titles?

We’ve run multiple tests on our end (even with Rank Math SEO activated) and haven’t been able to reproduce the issue.

You mentioned trying to disable plugins—could you please confirm whether the issue still occurs with all plugins deactivated?

Thanks for your cooperation—we appreciate it!

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, that’s exactly what’s happening. It’s like it’s missing a column in the display. I’m pretty sure this happened after installing.

I did try to disable plugins and revert to a default theme with no luck. Are you testing with 6.8? That may have where I made a mistake because I missed a warning about it not being tested with WP Stats yet.

This seems to have something to do with the post types maybe, because I do see a tag of some kind on post titles that werent there before. Is it possible something has messed up the display because of this?

If this isn’t your plugin I have no idea how to fix this. I can still edit pages in a roundabout way but obviously this is super inconvenient. Any suggestions?

    Dear @t0ta11ed,

If the plugin is deactivated and you’re still experiencing the issue, it’s unlikely that WP Statistics is the cause.

Could you please confirm if the issue occurs even if WP Statistics is deactivated?

Thanks for your help! I’ve narrowed this down to another plugin.

We’re glad to hear you’ve identified the culprit!

Since the issue isn’t related to WP Statistics, I’ll go ahead and mark this topic as resolved.

If you need further assistance or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always here to help!

Appreciate the help. Turns out it seems to be the Youzify membership plugin. Any known issues with that and WP Statistics?

    Dear @t0ta11ed,

To determine if there’s a conflict between the two plugins, please try activating only one at a time and check if any issues occur.

If the issue only arises when both plugins are active simultaneously, kindly let us know.

WP Statistics doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the problem. I was just asking if you’ve run into any issues with Youzify before. I’m speaking with them though.

    Dear @t0ta11ed,

We have not received any reports of incompatibility issues with the Youzify plugin.
