Scroll Bar Missing From Pages

    Hello,
    The scroll bar on all my pages suddenly disappeared leaving my site in a very bad navigational state.

    The scroll bar got missing when I did a database string search and replace to replace all references to an old domain name. When I uploaded the edited sql file, the site was fine, except for the missing scroll bar.

    I have read threads on similar issues and have applied their suggestions, but none has worked for me. Removing {overflow: hidden} from the html or body element didn’t help. Scroll bar displays on the dashboard though.

    I need all your helps on this please, ’cause it’s not been easy

    I don’t know what happened with the scroll bar, but I can see that your site is still using jQuery version 1.8, which leads me to believe your theme has de-registered core jQuery packaged with WordPress and is enqueueing it’s own version. I can see you are getting a few js errors on the page, but idk where your scroll bar went or if they are related.

    So what is the best possible workaround you can recommend?

    I would first try switching themes, to check A) if the js errors disappear and B) check if the scrollbar/content re-appear.

    Yes I tried that, and the sidebar appeared on the twenty fourteen theme. Thanks for the highlights

    I wonder if there are still people who help others out on this forum.

    Well, I may just have to look for a way to do it myself, as I did with most other threads I have started in the past.

    I’m having the same problem. Scroll bar not showing in website, but it does show in editor. 🙁 I am using latest WP version, and latest Theme version, and latest plugin versions….I have to rely on my up & down arrows to navigate pages…
