@borisv I have not deleted any posts from you so am not sure what you’re referring to. Perhaps you posted somewhere else and it was deleted by a forum moderator.
Are you referring to the main bbPress plugin or specifically to this add-on? You have posted on an add-on plugin for bbPress, not bbPress itself so I wanted to check and make sure.

I am referring to BB press or whatever is running these support forums. If this is a support forum to an addon you created for BB press, then I am sorry, you were not the intended target.

Thanks, unfortunately I realized that after I posted.
But, your link is also pointless because of the reasons I said in my OP (they already deleted it before).
As for me, I would never write code for this bulletin board plugin script as it is the really the worst (make that most asinine) that I have experienced and I am forced to use on WordPress. I am really pet peeved by it and reminded every time I post on the sub forums. I can’t believe WordPress is using it all over the place.

Let’s take this board for your own plugin support as an example:
Can you quote somebody, let alone multi quotes without posting any code?
Can you preview a reply?
Can you post an emoticon?
Can you subscribe a forum to receive notifications?
Can you bump topics?
Can you add a signature file which would foment user participation?
I can go on and on…
Maybe they installed this asinine BBpress version for the WordPress forums only, and there is a different BBpress to download. Would I find the same mediocre UI and have a better UX?

The version of bbPress used on ww.wp.xz.cn is mostly the default bbPress plugin, found here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/bbpress/
There have been some modifications done to it but the overall feature set is mostly the same.
Most of the features you describe are available in bbPress or available as a free add-on, many of which you can find in the ww.wp.xz.cn plugins directory.
