The Gravity Forms (www.gravityforms.com) plugin can’t be used if it’s reCaptcha is turned on and set up. Can you find the endpoints it needs and add them to the list in your plugin?

    Hi @wetapplemedia

The Gravity Forms plugin does not appear to register any endpoints with the core REST API. Since this plugin only uses the rest_authentication_errors filter provided by the core API, I am wagering a guess that the Disable REST API plugin is not actually interacting with your Gravity Forms at all.

Can you provide a screenshot or copy/paste of the response you’re getting from the API call? What endpoint is being hit? I did my own test of a simple form using Gravity Forms with a ReCaptcha field, and it submitted just fine.

Let me know if you can provide any additional information. Cheers!

I’m not sure, actually, what endpoint may even exist for GF.
All I know is: if I use their reCaptcha form item, it doesn’t work unless I disable the “Disable REST API” plugin. ie: The little checkbox that says “I am not a robot” returns a pop-up from Google saying that the connection to recaptcha had an error.

What form options are you using? Are you using any other GravityForms extensions plugins? Do you have the form somewhere publicly accessible that I could look at it? Unfortunately like I said above, I’m unable to replicate the issue on my install.

Here is the page. I will only leave the reCaptcha on there for a little while (broken) so please let me know when you’re finished with it.

When I fill out that form with the reCaptcha, I get this confirmation back

“Thank you for submitting your picks for the
Best of West Sound Reader Awards!

(Note: only 1 entry is allowed per email address)”

Your form does not appear to be throwing an error for me at all?

Hmmm… yeah I saw your test come through. That must mean it is something being blocked on my own home network possibly. So my browsers are not able to connect with something that it needs…

Thanks for your help. I’ll see what I can figure out. I am using OpenDNS to block various ad-serving sites… it may be they are blocking something that I need to have.

Happy to help. Let me know if you need any more assistance but I’m going to mark this ticket closed for now since I don’t think it’s this plugin after all.

    Good luck!!
