Please Read! Remove accept subscription email

Hi!

Some of my friends tried subscribing to my blog (katielavitt.com), but never officially subscribed because they did not see the email where they have to “accept” the subscription. Is there a way to allow people to subscribe without having to accept the subscription through their email? I’m afraid this will get in the way of gaining more subscribers because they’ll forget to check their email.
