Hi @tibbie
Can you check to see if OpenAI is imposing rate limit to your account?
You can follow the steps here to see if you are being rate limited:

Hi, I changed the API key and had previously made a payment – Paid$24.2028 Oct 2023, 17:37.
I am on Usage tier 1
MODEL TOKENS PER MINUTE REQUEST AND OTHER LIMITS gpt-3.5-turbo90,000 TPM3,500 RPM
I have used 0.03c
At the moment I only want to do about 60 product descriptions per day, and I use an apache server. Also, I changed the PHP from 8.1 to 8.0, no difference. Ideas welcome!

I believe the issue here might be related to being on Tier 1. I’ve encountered a few similar users with the same problem, and when we tested it with our own API key, it worked fine. Is there a way to elevate your tier? I suspect that aside from the RPM limit, there’s another underlying factor causing the OpenAI API services not to respond for those on Tier 1.

Hi, I changed the rate limit buffer from 3 to 10 seconds and some processes started. As a test, I went from 10 seconds to 30 seconds, no difference made. With 10 seconds, processed anywhere from 1 product to 15 products before stopping.
Re moving to Tier 2,
“CURRENT TIER
Usage tier 1
Once the following criteria are met, you’ll automatically move to the next tier:
- At least $50 spent on the API since account creation.”
So I figure at my current rate of processing, will take at least a year to get there. Any thoughts? Happy to give access, thanks
