I installed and activated the Footnotes (v3.3) plug-in, but it doesn’t seem to be functioning as advertised. Given the number of people who appear to be using it quite successfully, the good money is on operator error. Any idea what could be wrong? I tried restarting Apache, in case that might help; didn’t make a difference. The footnotes implementation is sufficiently simple that I’m pretty confident I’m formatting them correctly.

    Any ideas?

FYI, I moved this over to the plugins forum (where I should have put it to begin with). Sorry for the screw-up. I’ll reply to your questions over there, to keep it all in one place.

And no offense taken! You’re right, I really don’t have a clue what I’m doing. 🙂 Which is why I’m looking for help….
