Plug In Download Problems

I have now downloaded, installed, activated, deactivated and uninstalled the Slideshow plugin three times and all three times have only been able to get the “General Settings” option. I do not get any options to create a new slideshow. I have set the general options and saved them. Any help would be appreciated.
