During bulk optimisation, the function stops and the WP admin plug-in panel informs me:
“ewww-image-optimizer/ewww-image-optimizer.php has been deactivated due to an error”
Then I have to re install the plug-in and restart the processing. I am running the site on Host gator Optimised WordPress hosting.
Any ideas why this happens? I have 30.000+ images to go and this happens every aprox 200 images 🙁

One would need to know what the error is. Ask you webhost to check the error logs for any events related to files in the ewww-image-optimizer/ folder, and also make sure that they allow the regular version of EWWW on their Managed hosting platform. Many managed WP hosts only allow the use of EWWW with the Cloud API.
