    Help.

I have an html site that I hand coded. I want to plug my blog into the html site. I’ve tried reworking WordPress templates and am not getting the results I desire. I have read some things in the forums and codex and am just thoroughly confused.

How do I plug my blog into an html hole?

Yes and it made no sense to me. If I just put that header into my page it will automatically pull my wordpress into my page? Or do I need to do the Loop too?

You need the loop to show any content like posts, page content, etc.

    Ok. Makes some sense. So…

Put that code from “Integrating WordPress…” into the page, followed by The Loop, and tada?

Well, there’s a bit more to it usually than “tada,” but yes, try it.

It does not seem to be working. I’ve taken my html file, added the 2 codes (integrating and loop) and saved it as a test.htm and put it onto the server. Is there a specific place I should be placing this file on the server? Should I save it in a different format?

Have you followed the docs? And installed WordPress?

Yes to both. This is the error message I receive.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header()
