Plugin abandoned?

Hi, I am getting the warning from Wordfence that the plugin has been abandoned because no updates have been made for 2 years ( Dec 15 2022). Everything is working fine but I was wondering if somekind of change could be made to prevent this from happening?

The version on their Github is 4.03 so we could update to that as it’s newer than the one here.

They have had an open issue about looking for a maintainer for a while, so may have moved on sadly.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
Have you tried downloading the 4.03?

On Sy bolt’s page it says the version 4.03 was committed 4 months ago but it look like this hasn’t been added to the WordPress repository. If thsi is right then this version would last us another 20 months before we start getting the “abandoned” errors.

I haven’t tried that version no – I renamed the plugin folder for security reasons on the few sites I maintain that still need to use it.
Modern CSS has nesting, includes & variables which cover most of what I used SASS for.

Also finally published a 4.04 with some minor updates and the whole plugin version.

Hi, that’s great and many thanks. Sounds good for the future.

The update though is showing the error on the website header even though I have the error display is set to “Print to log”. This error has been ging for a while and not causing problems but now showing on the site after update.
