Can you provide the error being reported? I just tested with a local install and it updated fine. However, that’s not the case for you, so seeing the error will help us troubleshoot.

Pushing a 2.11.1 release with the missed file in place, right now.
Please try the 2.11.1 version, which restores the Ctct/Exceptions/CtctException.php file.
