Plugin adds ~100ms TTFB upon activation

    Hey, while debugging my page I cam across a thing.

    When I activate your plugin and reload my frontpage, it automaticly adds ~100ms TTFB. This is tested on a fresh wordpress with a near empty theme, there is just one line of text output. And not even wp_head or wp_footer is loaded.

    What is causing it? Can I fix this? Is this a expected behaviour?
