Thanks for the response.I was able to resolve the spacing issue. It appears the plugin is sensitive to any white space in the HTML. Removing the white space between paragraphs in text mode has resolved that issue. I’m still getting the multiple links for full view post option.

Uninstalling and reinstalling results in the following error on all pages:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function jps_free_options() in /wp-content/plugins/jquery-post-splitter/inc/jps-core-front.php on line 54

In fact there were a few cases in which this extra spacing was required. Wait for another 12 hours, you will get an update in which i will provide an option to remove(ignore) this spacing through settings page. I think this will work for you and many others.
