[Plugin: Adminimize] Update to 1.7.23 breaks Edit Image

    Under WordPress 3.2.1, upgrading Adminimize to 1.7.23 breaks Edit Image (for all users – regardless of level). Clicking on Edit Image brings up the edit page will all of the tool buttons, but no image. IE and Chrome display a broken image icon where the image should be. If I disable, Adminimize, everything works again. The only changes I had made under Adminimize were:

    Global options
    i. Deactivate for Contributor: Admin Bar, Favorite Actions,
    Screen Options.

    Menu Options
    i. Deactivate for Contributor: Tools.

    Write options – Post
    i. Deactivate Add New Category for Editor, Author, Contributor.
    ii. Deactivate Custom Fields for Contributor.
    iii. Deactivate HTML Editor Button for Contributor.

    Link Options
    i. Deactivate Target for Contributor.
    ii. Deactivate Link Relationship for Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor.
    iii. Deactivate Advanced for Editor, Author, Contributor.

    Now i have tested with your settings and also my own example settings, works fine in WP 3.3; no problems in all user roles.

    In 3.2.1 i have the same problem, but also without the plugin Adminimize; fresh install. Maybe an core-bug? I dont know.

    Why do you not update to 3.3?

    In 3.2.1 without Adminimize (and with Adminimize < 1.7.23) editing images works just fine for me.

    WordPress 3.3 is too new. Until I know all of the plugins I use actually work in 3.3, there is no way in hell I am updating a production site to it. At this point, I am even leery of updating my test site to 3.3 (for fear of ending up with a completely useless pile of code). When I get a chance, I will create another test site for 3.3.

    Adminimize 1.7.24 fixes the problem with image editing.
