    Hi,

Currently using 1.4.1 of the plugin, I want to upgrade, but seemingly doing so will disable the plugin, and I lose all of my settings.

I’m trying to “export” my configuration, but nothing is happening when I click the export button… can you let me know what might be happening?

(By the way, thanks for this plugin and your continued hard work on it!)

  • Hi whatadewitt,
Export/Import configurations was just experimental feature and it is retired in later releases.
Instead of that I introduced Config Press. Now it is very limited but in close future I’m planing to extend it to point when you’ll be able to configure AAM with Config Press the same way as just by using graphic interface. And I’ll add something like generate/export/import Config Press.

So then each time I update the plugin, I have to set all of my user permissions back up? Or if I update on the FTP directly, without deactivating the plugin, will I lost my permissions set up then?

Actually there is no sense to deactivate AAM each time you upgrade it.
    WP saves setting during upgrade.
Also I commented deactivation hook. Now it does not clear settings if you deactivated AAM.
