Plugin Alerts and Jetpack accessible

    Not sure what is causing this, but for testing I registered as a subscriber (IE8) and when I was logged into the profile (via typical dashboard) I can see Jetpack in the menu – accessible and also Alerts and notices from Yoast and other plugins. Even in my admin screen I have yoast and jetpack unchecked for the screen. I think this is a pretty bad thing. Is anyone else aware of this or did I just miss a setting somewhere.
