Plugin always fetching the default image

Your plugin is exactly what I was looking for but the main feature I want to use doesn’t work correctly on my site.
I want the following: If there is configured an image file in the “Use this image” field of a post or site this should be used. If not the default image set up in the configuration should be used.
Your plugin uses on my site everytime the default image. I can do what I want.
