[Plugin: Amazon Showcase WordPress Plugin] Activation fails with WordPress 2.8

    The upgrade failed with 2.8, so I removed the directory, attempted a new install and I get this error too. It doesn’t even show up in the list of installed plugins.

    I had the same issue… It’s because the plugin is packaged 2 folders deep. Browse out to the wp-content\plugins folder, drill down one level into the amazon showcase plugin, and copy and past the amazonshowcase folder to the wp-content\plugins directory.
