The other possibility is some issue with the her wp_users entry or the wp_usermeta entries in the database.
The fact it only affects one account suggests that the issue is to do with data rather than code.
Thanks Russell, I’l take a look and report back
The AuthorSure code uses a standard WordPress function to get the Author Name
get_the_author_meta('display_name', $id )
This returns about 100 spaces for the author name and a uRL of http://www.InteractivityMarketing.com/author/nicole/
I suggest you dig around the database and look at the metadata for Nicole and Melissa
It also seems you are doing some URL rewriting somewhere by replacing ‘author’ by ‘staff’
http://www.interactivitymarketing.com/staff/melissa/
Ignore the ‘staff’ comment. I suspect ‘staff’ is just a page and you have a sub-page for each member of staff.
Your right, it’s just a page.
I replaced the wordpress core files and melissa is now working.
I guess there must have been something wrong with the wp core.
Hi,
I have had your plugin for a few months, today is the first day that I checked to see if my picture comes up when I do a search for my articles and it does not, but the I use the Structured Data Testing Tool my picture shows and everything looks good to me.
Could you please have a look at my website and see if you can work out why this is not working.
My website is Here
With Gratitude
Lolly
@lollygreen,
Your Author profile is not verified – see Google Rich Snippets>
You have a www versus non-www issue
Warning: based on data collected from your profile, you contribute to http://www.diabetes2.com.au while your website seems to be diabetes2.com.au.
Your probably need to change your Contributor link on your Google+ profile from http://www.diabetes2.com.au to diabetes2.com.au
Hi Russell,
Thank you for that, I did see something similar the first time I checked and I sadly went and changed it to the www one as I thought it was the right one, then for some reason it showed as being fine, and then today when I checked it showed up again as one of them needing to change! lol
Any idea now how long before my image shows now in search results, its it a big wait time again becasue I had it wrong for so long?
With Gratitude for all your help. Love the plugin, will love it even better now I have set it up right! lol
Lolly
Hi Lolly,
All AuthorSure can do it make your face eligible for display it the SERPS; it cannot guarantee it – as the decision of whether or not to show your face is fully under the control of Google algorithms.
Earliest I have seen is 5 days; longest is 6 months.
All I can suggest is to post original content regularly to your site and engage on social media channels, including Google+.
Cheers
Russell
