Plugin auto-generates link in tools panel

    Because I have installed/uninstalled this plugin a few times (trying to keep my site streamlined) I have multiple Search & Replace links in my tools panel because the plugin auto generates a new link each time it is installed. Not a big problem, but you should know.

    Hi Pedro.

    You mean the link inside the menu of WP admin area, the link in Tools to the page of Search/Replace?

    May be a cache issue?

    Try to clean the cache and check if the issue persists.

    If you have plugins that work with WordPress admin menu or in admin context in general, deactivate them temporary and check if the issue persists.

    Please, before deactivating the plugins make a backup of the site and database, just to prevent problems.

    Guido, you were on the right track. Turns out this is an issue with Admin Menu Editor plugin. With the AME plugin activated, I have 5 links to S&R. With AME deactivated, just one.
