[Plugin: Auto Post Thumbnail] Doesnt support gallery shortcut?

im using this gallery code to add my images and the plugin doesnt seem to support it (no thumbnail is created)

[gallery columns="1" size="medium"]

and

[gallery columns="3" size="thumbnail"]

Possible to add a support for this in the next version?
