[Plugin: AVH Extended Categories Widgets] Sticky Posts

First I must say what a great addon and thankyou.

I am using the extended categories widget, but for some reason if the post is marked as a sticky it won’t stay at the top when a new post has been put in. How can I make the sticky stay a sticky?
