Will need some link to a live-page to offer you some help.
Works fine on http://preview.wp-themix.org/plugins/background-slideshow/.
Maybe you missed adding posts/pictures to the background Slideshow?

Can you check: blog.leukvoornl.nl ?

background doesn’t change either..
I added three posts with three different background images. It only shows one.

Doesn’t work for me either totally confusing the instruction dont explain how to add more images to the slide show a video somewhere could have helpred
