    I am on WP 3.0.4 and BackWPup 1.4.1
    Have installed this plugin on 5 sites, so far it always runs superb.

    A NOTE ABOUT INSTALLATION:
    May just be me, but in case it helps others…

    Whenever I install the plugin on a site and first Activate it, it give me an ERROR about missing directories/folders…

    I then access via FTP or cPanel file manager and create the missing Directories in location as per error message, then all is well.

    That step is missing in the Install instruction, or is it just me?
    Same issue on 5 sites on 3 different hosts.

    Also, under Settings, to send email via SMTP / Gmail – there is no field to put the Port Number but entering it under the SMTP Hostname like follows works just fine for me

    SMTP: Hostname:
    smtp.gmail.com:465

    Again GREAT Plugin, I love it!!!

    the directorys will automatcly created on first job run….. if the script can 😉
    yes support for port numbers is build in withe the : seperator.

    Daniel, Understood.

    Next install I will just run the Job and let BackWPup create the Directories.

    Maybe you could add a note in the error message explaining that Missing Ddirectory will be created by BackWPup after first job is ran?

    And by the way… if the first job I run is a “Check Database” instead of a Backup Job, will it still create the directories???
