I followed all the installation instructions of Basic Google Maps Placemarks plugin, but it gave the error as soon as I activated the plugin. What should I do?

    The error message:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class BasicGoogleMapsPlacemarks could not be converted to string in /home/np14695/domains/ateljeed.com/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/classes.php on line 277

    Thank you!

Hi eev, I think this might be because you’re running an older version of WordPress. What version do you have installed?

Sounds good. Do you remember which version you were running before you upgraded? I’m guessing it was earlier than 3.0, right?

I did not check the version before I upgraded, I guess it was earlier than 3.0.

How do you use different icons? By default there is one red icon, I would love to have several options. I guess, firs I put the images to the images folder and then what?

You just need to set a featured image for the post. On the right hand side of the page there’s a ‘Featured Image’ box, and you click on the ‘Set featured image’ link inside it.
