  • It hasn’t been tested with bbPress 2.1 yet, but I’ll take a look and see what’s needed. Thanks for spotting this!

Awesome, thanks. Even if you can just let me know a quick/hack work-around prior to you actually getting another release together that would be fab.

    Hi David,

Just touching base to see if you might have had any luck with this yet? Thanks in advance – I’m torn because there is great advantages to bbPress’ 2.1 style sheet setup, but a couple of plugins I consider critical, like bbPress Topics for Posts, have stopped working.

    Hey Jamie,

I’m going through the code now, and it looks like there are a number of changes to be made. So, working on it, but no ETA.

New version is out with bbPress 2.1 support (at least up to a recent build). Let me know if you run into any issues!

Thank you so much – installing now!

    Hey David,

Only a post I still have conventional commenting enabled (http://pantheones.com.au/news/pantheon-news/pes-soft-launches-csgo-beta-key-give-away-forthcoming/) I’m now getting the error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /pantheones.com.au/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 497

An article utilising forum posts as comments looks/works fine. Would this be something to do with the plugin, or unrelated?

    Thread Starter jamieskella

    (@jamieskella)

It was something unrelated! Sorry if you’ve just been trawling through code like a mad man trying to investigate a potential cause. 😛

Hi! I’m getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::have_posts() in …/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/bbp-includes/bbp-reply-template.php on line 168

    using the plugin at http://veteres-unlimited.de/neuer-schlitten-neues-event/

Because the bbpress 2.1 functions like normal after the update I think there is something missing at “echo bbpress()->shortcodes->display_topic(array(‘id’=>$bbp->topic_query->post->ID));” at your comments-bbpress.php.

    Can you help me?

    Gaston
