• Beeline works great. It’s just as the creators said it should be. I waited in anticipation for this program to come out and was not disappointed.

Basically, there are little Bees scattered throughout your posts, on average around 2. Readers click on the bee and like magic keywords pop up that are related to your content’s subject matter. They can click on the keywords and find other related posts from external websites. From then, they can click away, reading full posts without leaving the page.

Also the transition to external content is smooth. It’s like opening shadow boxes and seems to have less strain on websites, rather than linking to content and waiting for pages to load.

Now that I’ve stated the plus to this, I have to state the downside.

One, the Bees are cute but within certain content, they may seem intrusive. On some pages there are too many Bees and the admin has no ability (at present) to use the program on certain posts/pages and not others.

I think once these issues are resolved, this will be an excellent plugin!

  • Great feedback. We would surely allow the bloggers to control the max number of bees per page. Actually this is currently an internal feature that we need to expose.

As for the content the bees are set into. We have been thinking that it’ll be great to allow bloggers to select from a range of icons (large, smaller, etc.) so they better fit the look and feel of the posts content. We’ll be glad to get some feedback on that.
