Plugin being updated?

This shows it has not been tested with the latest version and WP shows it as not having being updated for 8 months whilst the developer says a new version was posted 4 months ago. A user posted a support request 3 months ago. It looks good but not if it isn’t being developed. Any clarification? Thank you.
