Hello,
interesting plugin but it could be more efficient.

Thumbnails: as I manage a blog about illustration and comics, I need a thumbnail in search results.

excerpt: take a look at this plugin: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wp-search-extracts/
Is shows excerpt of the post with colored searched terms and excerpt containing the terms.

Well, only some suggestions but they could improve your plugin, I think…

I saw you are planning to propose a paying version. I suppose most of improvements will go into the paying version 🙁

Not sure where you saw this. I have absolutely no plans on making a paying version for Better Search.

Sorry, I’ve tested some search plugins and I must have mixed all of them – it’s Search Everything the bad guy 🙂 But my remarks were about your plugin.
