Plugin blocking wordpress login

    Thank you for reporting your issue.

    I have released a new version of the plugin that no longer uses this deprecated function (create_function()).

    You can fix your problem by updating the plugin. If you cannot do this through the admin interface, you can download the new version from the wordpress website and replace this file: /home/thechur2/public_html/home/wp-content/plugins/bible-verse-of-the-day/bible-verse-of-the-day.php

    Thank you! I downloaded the new version, but am still not able to access the current plugin that should be replaced.

    The file address /home/thechur2/public_html/home/wp-content/plugins/bible-verse-of-the-day/bible-verse-of-the-day.php

    goes to a google search page that does not connect to any backend access to the site.

    Please advise. Should I see help elsewhere about logging in?

    Look at this tutorial for a few ways to disable the plugin:

    After that you should be able to login and update the plugin.
