this functionality is not exist at the free version of the plugin, its exist at the other versions of the Booking Calendar.

Which such a heft price tag on a plugin, I just want to be completely sure that it can do what I need it to. I looked over the demos, but I didn’t see anything with adding on “upgrades” to reservations. This will not be used for booking rooms, but rather services that will offer different optional items as upgrades. What kind of support do you offer with the purchase that can make my client and I comfortable in purchasing this plugin?

According support.
You can request the free updates of the plugin during one year after purchase of your version, when the updates are ready. If you will have any questions about configurations you are welcome to ask in the support section of plugin site.
If you will need to extend period of getting updates for the next year its will cost 50% from the original cost of your version of Booking Calendar.
According configuration of the additional cost for the option selection from the selectbox or checkbox. It’s possible at the Business Medium and higher versions. You can configure it at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
you will need to add additional costs, like tax or skipper or airport transportation or some other additional charges, which will depend from the selections of the selectboxes or checkboxes, so then you can make this configuration:
you can insert into the Booking form, at the Booking > Settings > Fields page some required checkbox, like this:
<p>Tax: [checkbox* my_tax “”]</p>
and at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page at the advanced cost management section for the option my_tax, set some additional cost.
For example for the tax 6% you need to set value 106% there.
The same logic for the select box option selection.

Such solution is very flexible about the additional cost configuration about not only the taxes but some other additional services, which is possible to select by visitor during booking process at the booking form.
But still we will try to improve this process at the future versions updates.
