Yesterday I was editing a new entry for my blog (depira.com.br). I’ve always used the online environment of WordPress with almost no problems at all. Yesterday however the automatic decoder of the online environment messed up my format. I could not find the cause of the problem nor a solution.

Then I discovered I didn’t upgrade to the latest version of WordPress since it was a while I made a new entry for my blog. Updating WordPress (on a toaster by the way) was the cause of another deeper problem. Whenever I’m trying to do anything in the online environment right now I get this error message:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_setting() in E:\Domains\depira.com.br\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\breadcrumb-navxt\includes\class.mtekk_adminkit.php on line 177

I looked up solutions for this error code. Most of the proposed solutions included removing and reinstalling the corrupted plug-in, Breadcrumb NavXT in this case. But since I’m locked out of the online environment, I’m not able to do this.

Can anyone help me to find a solution?

If the register_setting() function is not defined, that sounds like your WordPress install is corrupt. You will need to have FTP access (or some other server side access) and perform a manual reinstall of WordPress’ files.
