  • Does the plugin work with the default wordpress theme?

problem is that this is a pro theme I would have to buy before I can look at the reason why it is not compatible with my plugin. Have you already contacted the theme author about this incompatibility? I am pretty sure it can be more Easily solved from his side as this is the first time this kind of issue was reported…

The problem goes away with the default theme because the Advanced Editor, which is what is broken, is a page/post WYSIWYG editor which comes bundled with the Enfold theme from Themeforest.

Robert, I’ll notify the theme author for support. Perhaps his theme is using a conflicting version of jQuery or something of that sort.

thanks! if there is a chance to get access to the theme without having to buy it, I could also have a look if I could fix this from my side…

I set up a WP install with this theme so you can test things. I’m sending access, etc. in a separate, direct email.

    Thanks, Robert!

    Hi Pat,
thanks for setting up the test site – I found the error and could fix it: the problem was, that my css added by my plugin for the tinymce button had some styles which also were applied to the Advanced editor button from the enfold theme. I changed this on your test site (/inc/css/marker_select_box.css) and now it works (as a side effect, I also applied the current style for input buttons 😉
The fix will be included in the next release – which will be available on July 22nd (free v3.6 and pro v1.0)
Thanks again for pointing this out!
    best,
    Robert

Beautiful work as usual, Robert! Thanks!

    you´re welcome 🙂

I’m having a similar problem… when i got to Editor in Appearance i get the error message “Sorry, can’t edit files with “..” in the name. If you are trying to edit a file in your WordPress home directory, you can just type the name of the file in.”

I have deactivated my plugins and its still not working…

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!!!

I would need temp admin access to further investigate this issue…

I just tried reinstalling the theme and still no luck… its so weird.

Okay how can i give you temp admin?
