    Hi,

After activating the plugin the customer facing site works perfectly with all pages showing as secure and no missing images or CSS.

However, the WP dashboard CSS is not loaded and the only way to restore it is to deactivate the plugin.

I saw someone else report something similar but they were running a multisite whereas this is just a normal “standalone” site.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

have you already pressed the ‘Go ahead, activate SSL!’ button? Sometimes the styling in the dashboard can go missing when that button isn’t pressed yet. It should be visible in the bottom half of the page and clicking it often resolves mixed content issues in the backend.

If you did press the button and there’s still mixed content in your dashboard, it’s often because of a plugin conflict. In this case you can try to disable other plugins one by one to see if any of them are causing your issue.
