Plugin breaks my footer section

    Since a couple of days, I can’t access my footer section in the customizer. When trying to do so, it shows an error, something like “there was an error in this block and the preview is not possible”. I could narrow it down to TranslatePress, when I deactivate it I can access and edit my footer, when I activate it again the same error appears… what can I do despite dropping Translatepress? Love the plugin!

    To help me understand what’s happening, could you please send me a screenshot of the exact error message that appears in the customizer? You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshot.

    Also, please let me know how the footer was created — for example, did you use a page builder, a theme builder, or a specific plugin to generate it?

    Hi, sorry for the late reply! The issue still persists. Find a photo attached (language is German though)…

    First please make sure that your TranslatePress plugin is updated to the latest version.

    To better understand what’s happening and help pinpoint the cause, could you please let me know:

    • Is the footer you’re trying to edit a standard widget/section provided by your theme, or is it a custom-built block?
    • If it’s theme-related, which WordPress theme are you currently using?
