When I have orders with many products(about 35) and this plugin avtive, I can no longer view the orders. It results in a 503 response from the server. It only happens when this plugin is avtive and it only happens for orders with many products. Orders with only a few products works fine.

    Hello there!

In our attempts to replicate the problem within our local environment, we’ve run numerous tests and, so far, we haven’t been able to recreate the issue you’re experiencing. We’ve even tested an order with more than 50 line items and things work as expected.

Given this, the behavior you’re encountering could possibly be due to a conflict with another plugin or perhaps the theme you’re using in conjunction with WooCommerce. WordPress ecosystems can vary greatly, and these kinds of issues, although tricky, are not uncommon.

To isolate the cause, we recommend the following steps in a staging environment – this allows you to troubleshoot without affecting your live site:

    1. Backup: Ensure that you have a complete backup of your website. This is a crucial step before making any changes or starting the troubleshooting process.
    2. Update Everything: Make sure all your plugins, themes, and the WordPress core are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, conflicts occur because of outdated code.
    3. Plugin Conflict Test: Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and then reactivate them one by one. After activating each plugin, check to see if the issue reappears. This process can help pinpoint if a specific plugin is at fault.
    4. Theme Test: Switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One and see if the problem persists. If changing the theme fixes the issue, the problem likely lies within your theme.
    5. Server Environment Check: Ensure your server’s PHP version is up-to-date and meets WooCommerce’s minimum requirements. Server limitations can sometimes manifest in unexpected ways.
    6. Check Error Logs: Error logs can provide valuable insights. They can tell you if there are any specific errors that occur when you try to view an order with many items.
    7. Conflict with Custom Code: If you’ve added any custom code snippets to your functions.php file, or elsewhere, temporarily remove them to see if they might be causing a conflict.

If you find that a specific plugin or theme is causing the problem, reaching out to the developers of that product with detailed information about the conflict could lead to a solution.

Should you require further assistance or if you discover more details that could help us help you, please don’t hesitate to update us here.

Hi there, we just wanted to check back with you to see if this was still a problem for you. Please let us know when you get a moment, we’ll be happy to help troubleshoot further if necessary.

I had this same issue… Maybe do to Elementor? I rolled back to 3.2 and it fixed it. When I clicked on my store page in my menu it was showing an all black screen with a code message in color something to the affect, you aren’t allowed to do this … and Mailchimp for woocommerce was included in the text somewhere.
