Hi,
That’s strange, it’s the 1st issue like that since the 2.5 update where more than 5000 sites were updated.
Can you confirm your WordPress version?
Can you also let me know the description of the error, that can be found inside the error log. If necessary the hosting support can help you to find this info.
Can you also try to download the 2.5 version directly from the WordPress repository, then delete the current 2.4(you won’t lose any settings since they are stored in the database) and upload the 2.5 version.
You can also send me an email to [support AT wpmobilemenu DOT com] and we will continue the conversation there.
Thanks and apologize for any inconvenience.
Hi Rui,
Its good to hear that this is the only issue! My WordPress version is confirmed as 4.8.3 currently. Here’s a link to the log file that recorded the error: https://goo.gl/XAw48r
I’m using the roots.io sage 8.5.1 framework as a base for my theme.
I have resolved the issue by manually uploading version 2.5 via ftp. I’m hoping this information helps somehow. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks!
Glad it’s sorted.
I investigated that error and only found a couple situations like that in google and somehow they happened in installation that were using Jetpack. Are you using Jetpack?
So it’s difficult to tell what exactly was it.
It seems that sometimes there are some conflict with Jetpack and that WordPress installer function. Thanks for providing that info.
