If you continue to experience email delivery issues, it could be that you are experiencing a spam-related issue, and you can resolve that by using an SMTP plugin like Ultimate WP Mail or WP Mail SMTP. The Ultimate WP Mail plugin also comes with an email logging feature that you can use to track all outgoing emails and their statuses, to make sure they are indeed being sent.
