[Plugin: Broken Link Checker] huge mySQL database tables

    The plugin has generated huge tables in my database (total 6 MB), and my mySQL server appears to run out of memory and stalls when I try to do a backup.
    Is there any reason why these tables should be so large, and should I be doing anything different (other than move to a different host)?

    Otherwise, an invaluable plugin!
